The following are transliterated (also known as phonetic or homophonic) keyboards. That is to say, the Cyrillic characters are mapped to the closest sounding Latin characters. Of course, blood can easily be spilled over decisions on placement of those letters with no Latin equivalent. Therefore, to keep the peace, I have designed three slightly different variations to amuse, confuse, confound, and bedevil. These are optimized for Ukrainian language use, with the Ukrainian character set immediately available, and the differing Russian characters, as well as alternative placements of some of the Ukrainian characters, available via the Option key.
The Caps Lock key will alternate between the Cyrillic and Latin character set.
